The survey also reports these 11 pairs of brand name new footwear is part of a total of twenty. No I'm not at all Miss Average. I will not say exactly how many I own, but let's just say I have a number of more. I'm no Imelda Marcos, but plus a lot of other women I actually do love shoes. Sad it might be, however i always obtain a thrill when I purchase a new pair.
Why would women have completely new shoes in their wardrobe? Well apparently it's because we often buy them, 'for that special occasion'. I can certainly verify that. I have a lovely set of open-toed shoes in soft buttermilk leather trimmed with black and witha heavy silver studded heel and curly silver decoration over the toes. Desgined by Phi, I was sufficiently fortunate to get them at a hugely low price. I recieve them out periodically simply to look at them, but Ive actually no clue when I am ever going to wear them and every time I wrap them carefully in tissue and send them back to their box.
In terms of my other completely new shoes, when I checked out them I'd any excuses for why I hadn't worn them, which varied from 'yet to find a suitable occasion', 'a little too tight' or 'not quite the right colour'. If you are wondering if I felt just a little guilty ' yes Used to do. Watching me taking a look at my shoes my husband muttered not the very first time 'I won't ever understand women and their shoes'
And no he won't. Whether man or woman if you aren't into shoes, then you will never know very well what shoes can do for your figure and your self esteem. They can make the wearer feel taller, thinner, well informed and sexier. There really isn't another accessory that's able to perform those things.
However, before you purchase the next set of brand new shoes, it could you need to be time to escape among the unworn pairs you already own. Alternatively, you can follow my example and clear out these shoes that actually have experienced better days, take ones you won't ever wear to some local charity and clear the rest. Now I've the area ready for my next set of brand new shoes. Bliss!
